Heather O’Sullivan has taught dance for 10 years for organizations such as Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa University and Oral Roberts University. As a faculty member at Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education, she collaborated with then Director Stephanie Murrish to create Creative Movement curriculum designed to prepare young movers for pre-professional ballet training by inspiring a love for movement and developing body awareness, balance and coordination. Heather has choreographed musicals for Tulsa Opera, Oral Roberts University, and Cascia Hall Preparatory School. She earned her Bachelor’s in Dance Management from Oklahoma City University specializing in dance pedagogy, tap and musical theater dance. She has taught master classes for Tulsa Public Schools, Jacob’s Pillow International Dance Festival in Massachusetts, and Beijing Dance Academy in Beijing, China. She is also certified in STOTT Pilates. She lives in Reeds Spring with her husband, Michael O’Sullivan, and two children. She loves musical theatre, Argentine Tango, sewing and coffee with friends.
