Hanna Shcherbyna is the lead-assistant in the Toddler Community.
She is originally from Ukraine where she graduated from Donetsk National University with a Master’s Degree in Teaching English and German Languages and Literature, with a Philologist-Germanist specialty. She speaks Ukrainian, Russian, German, and English. Hanna also finished a two-year course in child psychology.
She has been teaching for more than 10 years, including teaching German to medical students and teaching English to various ages of students at both private and public schools.
Along with teaching, she has more than 5 years experience as an interpreter/translator.
After moving to the USA, she continued teaching and tutoring students in English and Russian.
In April 2017 she joined the team at Discovery Garden and has been fond of it ever since. She takes pride of being a part of the environment where everyone makes sure that each child receives the best care and love that they all deserve.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and 9 year old son.
Her hobbies include traveling, oil painting, bike riding, photography, movie making, cooking, reading, and dancing.
She believes that teaching is one of the most rewarding professions in the world, and you should never stop playing and being a child in your heart!
