Each year Discovery Garden celebrates the International Peace Day, by singing together the song “Light a Candle for Peace”, and joining hundreds of Montessori schools around the world. Each Montessori school will sing this between 10:00 am – 11:00 am in their standard time. The hope is that there is always someone singing for peace in a 24 hr. span.

Children will be singing this song in their classrooms and connecting to a ZOOM video call with parents and family. After the singing time, children will collaborate to create a Peace Day.
