Hello Tulips’ Families,
We came back to a wonderful week!
I hope you will be able to notice the changes we made in the environment. A bigger table and chairs were added to accommodate the needs of older children, the diaper change area was brought much closer to the bathroom (we share a bathroom, so it is tricky to have all changes in the bathroom); the children have more floor space to work now that we were allowed to use a rug! All wonderful changes!
We took a bit of time each day to add some holiday fun to the class! We decorated our tiny tree, made a garland to hang on the wall and added art work with winter / Christmas theme! We have been reading books as well!
We finished the week sipping some hot cocoa and eating cookies!
There is much more that I would like to add to the classroom to serve the children better. We are in need of a screwdriver board, a locks & keys work (I can make this one! I just need 5 different locks & their matching keys), plastic and wooden trays. if you are interest in help, send me an email I can share the amazon links.
Finally, Winter Celebration via zoom is on December 8 at 6 pm. You should have received an email from DGMS with the link and more info.
Enjoy the photos to see some of the children’s work this week.
